No pups on the pitch

At BTFC, we appreciate the role that dogs play in many families, but we want to remind our community that our clubhouse and fields are managed by Tweed Shire Council, and therefore dogs are not permitted in these areas. While we understand that some people may occasionally bring their dogs to the fields, we strongly encourage everyone to leave their furry friends at home.

One of the reasons for this policy is to ensure the safety of all players, as well as the well-being of your pets. Unfortunately, we have had issues in the past with dog faeces on our fields, and this has caused problems for our volunteers and parents who have had to spend time before matches cleaning the fields to ensure they are safe for players. This has also been an issue with other clubs who have made complaints about our facilities and the presence of dog faeces on and around the pitch.

We understand that dogs are a beloved part of your family, but we ask that you respect the rules and regulations in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. Please note that infringement notices may be issued by Tweed Shire Council for non-compliance with relevant laws. To walk your dog, we recommend Bilambil Road Park on the corner of Naponyah Road and Bilambil Road, Terranora.
